Occupational health and safety

Everyone in NSW has the right to a safe workplace—and that includes people involved in the sex industry. Under occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations both employees and employers have roles, rights and responsibilities for themselves and others. If you are self-employed, then you have control over—and responsibility for—the health and safety practices in your workplace for yourself, clients and any other staff or visitors.

Learning about NSW sex industry OHS standards will help sex industry owners and workers to improve health and safety in their workplaces—and foster a happy, healthy and safe local sex industry!
