Regional and Rural Workers

Sex industry workers in regional NSW face unique issues, including isolation, occupational discrimination and confidentiality issues at much higher levels than their city based peers.

SWOP outreach officers regularly travel to regional and rural areas, Check out Twitter and Facebook feeds or call SWOPconnect for more information. We also maintain strong partnerships with regional and rural health centres and clinics and many will have SWOP resources available on request. This means that along with our online resources and our Freecall SWOPconnect number  SWOP can deliver effective HIV/STI prevention and education.
